Dr. Deepak Bansal is a Specialist in General Paediatrics, Gastroenterology and Newborn Care. In addition, Dr. Bansal worked for a year in Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition; for a year in General Paediatrics; and, for one year as Senior Research Associate.
Dr. Deepak Bansal obtained his MBBS degree through PGIMS Rohtak in 1995. His postgraduate qualifications in Paediatrics include an MD and a Diplomate of the National Board (DNB). He also passed the MRCPCH Part I exam conducted by the Royal College of Physicians (CH), London. From August 2000 to May 2001 he worked at the Advanced Paediatric Centre of PGIMER Chandigarh as a Senior Research Associate / Clinical Research Fellow on an Indo-UK collaborative research project. For the next seven months he was at the Government Medical College and Hospital in Chandigarh as Senior Resident (Paediatrics). Then, from January 2002, he worked for a year as Senior Resident in Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at PGIMER Chandigarh. This was followed by a six-month stint as Senior Resident at Holy Family Hospital in New Delhi.
Dr. Deepak Bansal has attended and participated in several conferences, workshops and CME (continuing medical education) programmes to enhance his knowledge and skills. He has several co-authored publications in peer-reviewed journals, and is a member of national medical bodies connected to his areas of specialisation.
